Yes, thats a fun little loop over there.

Very close to my home as well, can hit up the twisties in less then 10 min from home.

I'd recommend staying close to the legal limit thought, even though i haven't seen a cop out there in a while they are always somewhere, they mainly troll closer to snohomish or monroe.

Is Oregon not one of those tiny little countries that Obama said was insignificant?

Part of LoLo is Gravel. (At least last time I was on it, which was about 7 years ago.)

I Ride: like it’s gonna rain tomorrow.
I ran part of it a good month ago and was turned back by snow (was riding up from Lolo Pass/Zig Zag area). IMO the only good Lolo Pass is for is amazing views. I'll give it that and will probably head back in the cage to snap some pics. Aside from the views the road was complete and utter crap... I pretty much stayed around 15-30 mpg the entire time and was sort of happy to get turned around... gravel, potholes, tree limbs, etc.

Where are you heading from/to and maybe I can help you out?

There are some fantastic long switch back sweepers over there, you can get there from Hood river if you are a gravel sissy. The ride from Zigzag over Lolo Pass is a great road but there is 3 miles of gravel. There is two gravel roads and the one to the right (east) is much smoother.
Also if you get over that way you have to hit Cooper Spur road, a short (ten mile) roller coaster that comes out on hwy 35.
