I might be in for a ride to Seneca if the plan is to stay within 10 mph of the speed limit. I hear highway 380 is a nice little ride. I think one has to go all the way to John Day to refuel. I still have to adjust the valves and do an oil change today. Should be good to go for Sunday. |

| Moderator ![]() | ![]() There is some real fun twisty stuff just out of Prineville, then it turns into long sweepers all the way past Paulina. You can run at 100+ just about the whole way. There is regular fuel in Paulina, and there is supposed to be fuel in Post, although I've never stopped. The road turns into the Izee hywy past Suplee, and is not as good...still fine..just not a high speed road. You want a really cool fun road?? At Logdell, turn north on nf-21. Follow nf-21 to Field Creek road. It dumps you out on 26 between Dayville and Mt Vernon. It is a single lane, paved road thru the forest...and it is friggin COOL! Check it out. This shot is at the turnoff, looking back toward Suplee; ![]() This is the road; ![]() It is a MUST ride road. |
