knee as good as new
or so they say it should be... had my knee surgery today... dr. cleaned it all up... had some stuff floating in there as well as a pretty good tear in the maniscus... woo hoo... glad its over and hopefully will be pain free in that knee... might have to have the other one fixed next

Removed 1/4 maniscus about 2 years ago. I can say this it's alot better than it was, but not as good as it used to be! Has the numbness wore off? Thats when that SH*T hurts. Good luck buddy... Later

pain hasnt been too bad... just some aching i guess... have taken 1 hydro since being home... not a big fan of pain pills... so to answer the question... apparently the numbness hasnt worn off yet lol

Mine is doing great, still working on it. Not much pain though, Doc did a good job. Hope you have the same results.

numbness is starting to go away... so getting a bit sore.. still tolerable... i just keep telling myself... skinny has a sh*t load more pain than i... so i cant be a wuss about it lol

Take it easy on that leg, and get better. Glad to hear it went well.

Take the pain pills, as they are your friends. Don't get "behind the curve" with 'em, or you will be sorry. At least for a few days...

I've had both knees worked on in the last 3 years. Give it a couple weeks, and you will be doing the fun stuff again!

I had My knee done just last week and it feels better hard going up stairs and I am with you about the pain meds I think they screw me up more then anything My minicus was turned upside down and backward don't know how that happened and a torn ACL but all is fixed and I am just waiting to get on my bike I have been off work since May been hard just sitting around. Good Luck and Hope pain is not going to be a problem.

Hope you feel good as new as quick as possible! Had my Meniscus removed and rehabed my knee... Big Difference! Glad they fixed you up and hope the pain is tolerable for you today! Pain pills def will help get thru the first few days like others said, that and ice.

feeling a ton better... riding the recumbent bike a few times a day and doing the extensions on the bowflex... getting up the stairs is a piece of cake... a bit slower going down... but it definitely feels a lot better than it did presurgery... so thats the good thing and i guess it was worth it

got the stitches out today... only prob im having is my calf hurts like a mother... dr. did a nice painful massage on it...

Dr. Zirkle did mine
