SuperMoto Sunday 8/24
Ok time for a new thread here for this coming Sunday at the Horn...

Lots of new riders coming out... Members $20 Non Members $30 and they might want $5 for pit passes for spectators.... (it goes to a great cause, that new track surface is expensive)

Lets plan a lunch break / picnic and make it a great track day... I have 2 ez-ups, more the merrier... I'll talk to Glen, another new rider from Spokane to see if he wants to come down. I'll post up on Supermotojunkies.com and see who else can make it out...

Will be a great day now matter, cause in the end its SUPERMOTO!!!

That's right, to get into the "pits" or cool down area they are hitting us up for $5. (also to get onto the track to take pic's) None the less, B is right, this will only help us get the dirt sooner! B have you talked to them any more about the possibility of a "clean up"/dig day?

Is there plans for a dirt section?

I highly doubt it, takes too much to clean up so the Karts can run

The "guy" in the golf cart mentioned that they had one before... it was on the far end near the SX track... and that we would come onto the kart pit entrance before entering the track to keep the dirt down.

I don't think that will happen until November with all these track addicts

Rev, we get to ride this track nearly EVERY weekend, BOTH DAYS for the small fee of $30!!!!! (or $20 if you buy the kart klub membership, which I think pays for itself after 10 track days or 5 weeks if you go as much as we have been!)

Ya, it's that cheap and no I have no clue why others aren't all over this...

Here is the deal...we show up around 9-9:30, Track opens around 10 and stays open till 4 or 5.. its open any open saturday or sunday where there is no race scheduled we are open to practice. The practice is open to karts and supermotos. We alternate sessions, but there is plenty of track time for everyone..

You can always check the schedule for the track here... http://www.tckc.net/ This weekend is open and the next weekend is especially open as they are having a kart race weekend in Spokane.. (which postpones our road trip plans... maybe pats acres in portland! )

Anyone planning on coming out and riding should have their bike with catch cans for their radiator and fuel lines and peg sliders.. axel sliders and bar sliders recommended. This track has been repaved and is perfect, we want to do our best to keep it in good shape!

We are working on organizing the local supermoto efforts here to help promote this growing sport. Cause yeah it rocks

for now its as easy as a plastic bottle with cap, drill big hole into top for over flow tube(s)... drill some small ones for breather holles.. insert overflow tube(s), zip tie to bike....

once you get that you can get fancy like Jeff and machine something stainless and trick

the size of a pop can or a bottle of brake fluid... I think mine IS an empty bottle of brake fluid as its flat and tucks in tight between the frame up front. You will see many variations..... James used a 4 inch long piece of pvp pipe with end caps, one end drilled

I am very excited about coming over for this. The guys at work are both jealous and tired of hearing about it. I dug out my dirt helmet and boots tonight that haven't been worn in over two years; the red helmet looks really stylish with the yellow leathers too.

I can't wait to be the newb on the track that requires babysitting. Who wants to be the instructor riding one handed looking backwards to see if I've crashed yet?

Thanks again for the invite Brian and Zach.

Um.... Dude... if you crash WE'LL ALL SEE IT!!! HAHAHAHAHA

from the "grandstands" you can see the entire track... VERY spectator friendly. We usually have a Central Posse out there to laugh and kick it with us between motos... not to mention the track is a mere 5 minute drive from both food groups, Taco Bell and Starbucks! It's a tough life for these kids in the central.... 330 days or so of ride able weather... a supermoto track on the edge of town... ahhhhhh it's TOUGH!

Nice, yeah barbara is coming over too. I'll bring air, ezup, chairs, bbq, propane, I dont think anyone is running tire warmers are they? I'm more excited for this than I am for WMRRA! Ha. My buddy Drake Beaudry will probably be coming over with me, if so, watch out this kid is a AMA supermoto racer.

Jim you showin up on the 24th or the 31st?

Drakes bike...
