group ride to Newport beach ride May 17th
I have marked out some nice twisties on the way to newport beach from corvallis. As of right now its me and my dad going, he has a 08 ninja 500R and I have a 08 ninja 250R. everyone is welcome to show up and ride, here is the map. the map thing isnt working for me on google, but basically its riding the backroads through the woods parallel to the high way for the most part then well ride up through south beach. we will meet up in corvallis at about 11 O'clock, i will decide on a location once more people want to go.

what you guys think?

If you are going to be in Corvallis that weekend and are looking for a starting point, check out the Vintage Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet at the Benton County Fairgrounds.

You shouldn't have any difficulty getting a group ride together then, especially to the coast. And yes, there are some great roads between Corvallis and Newport/Waldport.

thats a good idea thanks man. On the way to the coast there is a parking lot on the left side of the road. by the satellite picture i cant tell what it is but looks like mabe a grocery store. its on the corner of SW 53rd Ave and SW Philomath Blvd. we will be there 9 am give or take 10 - 20 minutes. If there is no bikes there we wont stop. But if you wanna ride be there.

Wow, you picked a great weekend to ride, I just remembered this is also the Rhody Days Festival in Florence. Bikes, lots of bikes. Now what to do?
