New to Oregon Riders in 2007? Post here!
Welcome to PNWRiders.com!

Glad to have you around! Oregon Riders is a group of folks, young and old, experienced and inexperienced, male and female, that live around your area and all share the same passion: Motorcycles! We've been a family since 2004 and we've been growing ever since.

You'll find this a great community loaded with tons of useful information and awesome people! You're welcome to post up and come out to events/rides to get to know us! Rides get post with two months to two hours notice, so keep your eyes open - feel free to post your own. We have bike nights occasionally, which range from 3-20 people, and is a great chance to meet others.

If you're new to our group in 2007, please introduce yourself! Tell us your name, how long you've been riding, and what you ride now. Pictures are always great!

See you on the road,
-Santi

I Ride: a nighthawk
hello there.. oregon rider here. my name is jennifer and i ride a cb750 nighthawk. its my second bike, first was a cb450sc nighthawk. ive been riding now for into 7 or 8 years. i raced for four seasons at woodburn dragstrip, two of those on the nighthawk finishing 21st and then 18th, and the last two years ive raced a hurricane finishing 14th and last year comning in 6th. i get to do my own bike work and have tought myself everything i know(but for some awesome tech advice i get from some other female). i have two pit bikes, both ruckus'. im slowly getting into an older scrambler and will be putting the miles on as well. keeping those bikes company in the shop is another nighthwawk( a buddies) and a 919( the nighthawks' partner in miles). there are never too many bikes anywhere. i ride mostly alone and i hate to bar hop...

That is a really sharp looking Ninja. Love the red frame with the silver paint. Very tasteful!

Thank you! I appreciate the nice compliment. I fell in love with it the second I saw it. It was definitely an "emotional buy" but well worth it. I can't imagine a better bike for me, it fits me to a tee!!

Smile New to Oregon Riders 2007
Hello to all....My name is Josh. I currently live and ride in Colorado, but I will be back in my hometown of Eugene in late February. I've been riding for a little over a year now. I ride a Honda CBR 600 F4. It's my first bike. I bought it used from a friend. It's a 2000. I'm looking for anybody and everybody to ride with, hang out with. I would love to join some people for bike nights. I'm interested in long rides or short. My E-mail is in my profile. Hit me up sometime. I'd love to meet all of you. Here are some pics from Colorado....Later Taters

Next time use the "IMG" code instead of "HTML". Just a little tip.

I'm new this year. In response to Lowman's first post, I freaking hate this FL weather. It's been like 58° out here lately. I actually had to put a sweater on under my jacket when I left work yesterday.

A little about myself, Name is Ron, Ronnie, whatever as long as you don't call me Ronald (that was my dads name and he hated it so my birth certificate says Ronnie). I'm 28 (29 in a couple weeks ) and I've been riding for 2 years now. I've completed 2 ERC courses in the past year and plan on taking another one in the next few months. I own a 2006 Kawasaki Z1000 and a 1992 Suzuki Bandit 400 (will be sold tomorrow though ). I currently reside in Tampa FL due to government orders. I will be moving back to Astoria in June though. Coast Guard hoo rah. Can't wait to be able to ride the roads around there and meet you bunch of people. I'm not going to post any pics of my bike seeing as I have slathered this board with them over the past month or two. But here's a link if you want to see it.

Where were you at? What day did you come through portland? So, how did you get from where your bike got impounded to where you were going? That really sucks to be stuck somewhere. Hope you're getting things straightened out. How come you didn't have an oregon or washington lisence? Why did it get impounded, I'm a little confused.

Hey ronrdrcr, welcome. No offense on the weather jab, I have a whole closet full of sweatshirts to place under my jacket for riding!! And the gear is weather proof of course.

Hello folks. I posted this up earlier on the wrong board I think. Nice forum you have here. Anyone ever ride to the coast? I get to PIR once in a while and ride hwy. 34 when I can, but it's always solo. It kinda sucks riding alone, but I never argue about which road to take (not outside my brain anyway)

The bike I'm constantly striving to improve my riding skills with is this girthy one below:
So if anyone plans a coast trip holla!

P.S. I diced it up with a guy on a newer Beemer (K1200....something, boxer engine) sport bike, yellow and grey from Philomath to Newport on 20 last Sat. Anyone on this board? Rumble

Hi and welcome Rumble!

I like the coast and will likely be over that way when the weather improves darn rain.

And like lowman said let's get some action going on this board. Central is the most dead area on PNR

So who else is out there lurking?

Hello!
Hey guys/gals! New to the forum here... both myself and my s.o. ride. I just got my first bike the end of March; it's a duc monster. My bf rides a Kawasaki zr-7s (and has been riding much longer than I). We both live in Bend, so if anyone wants to go for a ride, we are always game.
