However I didn't come up with a winner. The closest I got was about 4 miles north of Deadwood on NF-whofuckingknows when the road was completely washed out. Oh well. Way up there the roads are pretty crappy with frost heaves, gravel, sand, and debris so my sportbike pipedream of a route was just that. Still had fun though and I saw my first black bear! Just a cub running down the road on the way back into civilization. |
