Can I bum some from ya?
Local knowlege that is.

I tried the forum search and got buried with unrelated stuff.

I'm planning my route to Sportbike Northwest this weekend, narrowed down to 3 options.

1) 101 to Florence and hwy 126
2) 101 to Waldport and hwy 34
3) 101 to Newport and hwy 20

Which of these is the most fun?

My 2 crappy maps of Oregon get really sketchy north of Detroit to connect with hwy 26. Looks like 46 and/or 224, are these any good? I'll be on the VFR, not the DR-Z, so I want to avoid unpaved goat trails.

Thanks!

I Ride: a cruiser that doesn't know she's a cruiser.
Definitely Option 2: 101 to Waldport and Hwy 34 into Corvallis. Head up 20 to Albany then over the I-5 to Detroit.

I am not familiar with roads North of Detriot but others from Salem, Bend or Eugene will post up.

Have fun!
