Today on my way home was riding along in the far left lane, staying on the far right side of the lane so that I was'nt riding in the rutt and so I had an easy escape path into the lane next to me. Speed limit dropped down to 45 for construction so I slowed to 50 :-) look in my rearview mirror and there's a shitty subaru waggon closing on me fast so I keep an eye on him, he slows as he gets closer to me and eases over to the far left side of the lane to try and pass me in my own lane. I turn around and look at him and give him a WTF are you doing signal. He motions for me to get out of his way so I move to the middle of the lane. He then speeds up to try and ram me, so I un-zip my coat half way and reach in. He imediately backs waaaay off. Gets in the lane next to me and pulls up next to me and rolls down his window and yells something at me. So I yelled back. "If you try and pass me in my own fucking lane then I will fuck your ass up!" He yells something back at me and is looking all crazy so I yelled back at him. "Welcome to thunderdome Bitch!" and hit my brakes and tucked in behind him and started following him till I could get someplace where I could call the cops on him for trying to run me off the road. Finnaly after a while I gave up when he pulled into a parking lot and got out of his car and started coming at me. T |

Still havent carried yet, but I have everything to do so, when I choose to. Which will probably be soon. First night my friend was on his new GXSR600 some guy tailed him for 2 miles... Only to ask him what kind of a bike it was... WTF?! Stupid people out there. |

Don't carry a gun.. shit you crash your bike and it might be that gun that kills you not the road.. ASP's are a telescoping batton.. Good defensive device, great for removing mirrors at the flick of a wrist, but wont kill you... Cops carry them, you can get one online for 60-70 bucks. |

You willing to go to the big house because you aren't smart enough to be a safe rider? It's called "road rage" for a reason. Granted, the circumstances were not of your own fault, but that nimble fast rocket can outmaneuver anything on the road. Show your skills and let the asshat have the lane. If you absolutely have to get even, at least be discreet about it. |

You said next time you'd "fuck his ass up" and then when he got out of his car, he was giving you the opportunity to live up to the promise. That sounds like an opportunity to me - and you don't need a gun for that. |

Maybe he was pissed that you were camping in the left lane like so many other dumbshits in this town. Why didn't you just move over if you saw him coming? ![]() | |

Completely blew the pool out of the water. Only recently a few of us got it started again when we heard he got a new bike. This should be easy money. Please don't discourage him. |

The line turns solid and you're supposed to stay in your lane until the end of the construction zone.. |

| Pit Crew Joined: Jun 2007 From: Eastside of the Westside I Ride: Ducati Mostro | An IWB holster has more than enough retention to make it safe for motorcycle carry. I know some who've used shoulder rigs without problems. And contrary to what you believe a gun dropped will not fire 99.9999% of the time. And since it's strapped onto you when your bike falls (ie a gun falling on its side) zero chance of discharge. To be frank, Kolat, with the way you handled and escalated the situation... you are deciding to carry for the wrong reasons. Having a CPL entails - well, it should anyway- a very high degree of responsibility and self-discipline. You should also be ideally investing in training and range time as well. Don't take this to heart, just urging you to analyze why you want/need to carry. Be safe -Tif |

No changing lanes in the construction zone and there was traffic in the other lane. SonicBlue03: I said if he tried to pass me in my lane again I'd fuck him up, he changed lanes and did'nt try and pass me. nemesis: I have my ccw, have had it since I turned 21 and I carry a ruger P-90 .45 ACP.......it'll make big holes in whatever it's called on to make holes in, and it's reliable as fuck.
