love the old xr's damn good fun...had one or two in my day....if u come across another deal like that let me know i want something to beat the tar out of...the freakin CBR is startin to look beat poor girl cant catch a break it looks like its been out with ur bike on a date...muddy ,dirty, nasty, bugs all over it...ur a bad influence at this point i might as well start takin a dirt road home once in a while.....just to set things straight m/b brian uses his bike in the inapropiate ways because...well he has issues he is not the only one that craves more than his bike was built for, through his innovation and complex need to ride a street bike in the dirt he has created something totaly unique and pretty cool....i just like giving him a hard time cause its fun he dont need a new bike...therapy maybe but not a new bike.

Yup! It is unique and pretty cool indeed.
I believe that riding a street bike off road is called "Max Blasting"... At least I've heard it called that before in print.

I have a set of Blazer auxilary lights from Wally world for riding off grid at night. mounted with a thick metal L bracket. Damn cheap, damn durable. Everything else is locktighted and crimped, and ziptied. I get some abuse and find out what holds the hard way The kickstand is back up and on tomorrow.

We didnt get to do the Sequim burger run last week due to weather. I am thinking tonite is the perfect time to make a run for it. Twisties on the way out, along paradise bay, back side of P.T. Anderson Lake, Discovery bay (watch out for po-po) and into Sequim at the 101. Slab it home.
Meet at 6 with a full tank of gas, gone at 630 promptly. Pete if your tire is in, I figure we hit sequim around the 8ish time frame. Bring your sunglasses we might have a bit of sun tonite.

callin the ball
Due to weather, and a good glazing of HAIL at my house, I think this one is going to be called on the account of weather. I am on my Sportster as I am still waiting for the kickstand parts for the Bueller.... The sportster is more of a spoiled sunny day rider. And definately not for mucking about. All this rain is putting me off, if I were on the Buell, I would be out in it. ONly the rain makes good MUD.

Cinqo de Mayo Recovery ride. If Pete has his tire then we are headed out his way. Still looking to get out to the 101 Diner and return the favor for him coming all the way to see us in the dead of winter.
Not even going to mention Fatt Smittys cuz we know it will be CLOSED.

I saw fat smittys was open last Sunday just an FYI cityslicker. We drove past it around noon or so after our halibut trip. Just got done eating or we would have stopped in and gave a current report on quality of food and service... next time! Weather permitting im def. in for the ride!

I have said tire installed, and need some more miles to break it in. weather is "guessed" to be nice for the next 3 days, which means 112 should be dry by then.

If it remains to be nice, i should have a couple hundred scuff miles on it soon. And, i got current WA tags, lol. the locals didn't like my expired FL tags..............

If you don't have the transponder, bring cash so you could just give it to the lead bike and that bike can pay for all at once.

My wife and I may want to join you on the other side of the bridge. If so, we'll be waiting for you on one of the Hwy 16 onramps 2-up on my Buell. We'll just catch up and join in when I see you roll by.
