Can anyone do a Chain and Sprocket in Kitsap?
I've been putting this off for a while, but I need to get it done. I have the parts, dont want to go to cliffs or brothers and faron seems busy when I have to work.

Any local wrench turners with the appropriate tools?

You will be comp'd of course.

You can bring it to my place to get the stuff swapped out, but to have the chain pressed, Cliff's will do it for cheap in the back of a truck. Give me a call and we can try to work out a time. Most likely the evenings for me.
And then put it back in your truck and drive to Cliff's.

A friend of mine is in dire need of a new chain and sprocket and when he returns from FL, I was going to help him with it. I just don't have a press.
Could I borrow yours?

DW_Liquid, sounds like Rob and I could team up and give you a hand...

If you have the parts, it's not something that takes a long A$$ time to swap out. What you definitely need is the press. The rest, I see it taking 2 hours max per bike if we are all standing around BSing.

For me, this Saturday is no good and Sunday looks just as bad. The following Saturday is the day all our furniture arrives, and I want to be doing some riding. that weekend anyway.

Do you already have your parts?

Rob, do you have a press?

I have the same chain tool the pros use. Done many a chain. You may borrow the tool or come by and we can do it. I can show you how to use the too but using it is up to you. It's not a big deal to use but I don't want to be responsible for anything that goes haywire (I don't expect anything will).

I'm in East Bummertown.

Well, for me, it might end up being while the furniture is being delivered next Saturday that we do Josh's bike.
If you want, Desmo Dave can ride over to my place and we can bang out both bikes, then go for a ride somewhere. DGA from Portland will be up here that weekend for some sweet riding too... so, it could be something that makes for a super sweet weekend...

give me a call or shoot me a text if you want to haul out to E. Bremerton...
Desmo, where do you live at?

I have my kids this weekend so I'll be chillin around the house most of the time. I'm totally free tonight, even have workspace in my garage at the moment. Saturday I'll probably go shopping for another car but.. have not fully committed to that.

The number in my profile will soon die so PM or e-mail me direct.
