Unhappy R.I.P. Nathan Tech (Oneupduc)
I am sad to report that Nathan Tech, AKA: oneupduc has passed away on his Ducati today. Here is the story!

I recently moved up here to the Northwest. I met oneupduc here on this forum. Well Nathan and I made arrangements to meet thru this site. Today was going to be our first time ever to ride together. I work at the helmetoutlet off of Dalton and Government way in CDA. We were going to meet at my work and then go to Lost in the 50's together our first ride.

As I was waiting for oneupduc aka: Nathan to arrive I heared a lot of sirens and cops going by my work. Well I was curious as to whats going on? Then I looked at my watch and Nathan was already a half hour late. I look down the street which was basically across from Cenex fuel station. I saw a red ducati laying in the street and I put two together and was in shock to see what I saw. I ran down the street to find out whats going on, and they were doing cpr on Nathan. Unfortunately he did NOT make it. I took a couple pictures of the scene. If you know Nathan aka: oneupduc please send your condolences to his family!

WARNING these photos are graphic!!!!

Very sad day today for me, as I never got to meet my new riding buddy! Everyone PLEASE be safe and watch out for cars!

Thank you!

Sad to hear another rider had to die cause of someone elses mistake. Story of our lives I guess. My heart is out to his family and friends. Definately need to remove those pics from here that is not some thing people want to see and they may flag and lock this post and then we can not send our best and let people know we care.

RIP nathan

I want to send prayers to Nathan. I hope he is resting in the arms of God. On the forum I think it is ok to notify an event. And as a group we collectively Take time ,reflect and pray for a fallen PNW rider/any rider. Can we just be a little more careful, maybee post a picture of a rider/ and a story of why we loved this rider/why we give a damn, but no photos of any rider when they crash/ or when they may have died. I do not want to bash here. Lets be respectful...... I have three little girls and I hope they would never see there Dad crash and die on a website. May god be holding Nathan tonight and helping his family ad friends through this tough time. And to all of who is a PNW rider may you say a prayer for those who have fallen, and look out for each other.

Deadly motorcycle accident in Coeur d'Alene

Posted: May 16, 2008 07:37 PM PDT

COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho - The Coeur d'Alene Police department say one man is dead after a fatal collision between a motorcycle and pickup truck.

The accident happened around 5:35 p.m. Friday in the 5800 block of N. Government Way. When police arrived at the scene of the crash witnesses were performing CPR on a 31-year-old adult male. The man was later pronounced dead and police are not releasing his identity until next of kin is notified. The investigation was eventually handed over to the Idaho State police.

Police say that a preliminary investigation indicates the victim was southbound on Government Way when a Toyota pickup driven by 65-year-old Charles L. Taylor of Dalton Gardens turned out of the Cenex Co-Op parking lot onto Government Way heading North bound. It appears the driver of the motorcycle attempted to stop by laying down his bike but collided into the driver's side door of the pickup. Taylor was not injured in the accident.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash. The Idaho State Police are continuing to investigate the collision.
