Ride to join Portland ride (Sat 30th)

Date Change! Correct day is Sunday the 31st

The Plan: Meet up and ride down and join up with a ride in Portland. If the weather in Portland is very nasty on sunday. The weather should be nice in Washington and I have another very nice route. So what say you. Want to go on some of the best roads you have ever ridden?

Where:[u] Exit 88 off I5 at the shell station
When :7:30 kickstands up at 8:00U]

I would rather ride sunday and monday but i I have 2 different friends getting married this weekend, one sunday and one monday. I have such a boring weekend ahead...... I just want to be able to ride some on my 3 days off.

We should have more "exchange" rides like this. I'd like to get to know personally more than my own coterie of Portland/Vancouver area riders. I wish I were around Sunday to meet up with you.

Transported, I'm a truck driver, and usually have the bike in the back of the truck with me. I'm hopin to make one of the standing weds rides in the near future... I'll drop a note on that post should I ever be able to make it.

Sure. Eastside or Westside standing rides are both lots of fun.

I was thinking the same thing today. It never occurred to me that i could just hop on the bike, head down there and meet up with some Oregonians for a putt.

No problem. We have to meet at exit 88 at 7:50ish kickstands up by 8:00. to be there roughly 9:30. I dont know what time or where you need to meet him at, maybe arange to have him meet at out meeting location. (ill let ya know where that is when I find out)

Hey Eric. The destination on your route down to PDX is about 5 minutes from my house. LOL. So yeah, that would definitely work. I might even think about joining up on your ride from skyline. Which ride is it?

Heres the thread. We have a route and it will be coming out shortly. Please Verify if your in or out!

I hope to see all show up in FULL LEATHERS..well atleast full gear of some sort if you plan to ride in the back. If you dont know these roads (Hell I dont "know" these roads), they are very tightand varry in elevation alot. There are alot of blind corners and decreasing radius turns. It is very tight and windy and takes ALOT of concentration. Get a good nights rest and bring water to drink. Be ready for a NICE long day of some of the best roads you have ever ridden

Oh and insurance is required to be in Oregon.

Well guys, you missed out. We didnt link with the portland ride as they joined up with a ride that went farther south than I wanted to go, oh well just less I5. For those who went, it was a blast. I just cant get enough of those twisties. The gps worked well where I put it, im going to fab somthing up now that doesnt block my rpms

. Clocked 399miles today.
