Hi, back from work now and time to intro myself.

Sad thing is that I don't know if I'll have time to get to know you all and time for long rides! We are moving to the UK in June - taking my baby EX500DF7 with me. (I think I got all the numbers and letters in order) in other words my Ninja 500!

(hubby taking a BMW K1200R)

I learned to ride two years ago with Team Oregon and admit I am mostly a fair weather rider, trying to gain more experience. I have ridden in rain and hail, but not by choice. I only get chance to ride on Sunday afternoons. Once in a while I do 'shopping' chores on the bike.

I've got 5000 miles under my belt, so still a real newbie. I must confess I get a kick out of making heads turn when people realize there's a female under the helmet!

We were supposed to do a day on the track but all our plans got screwed up. The moving plans kicked in super fast. I have a friend in UK that knows about track time places, so I am looking forward to doing that in the future.

Not sure what else to tell you, but of course you can ask.

Hey just popping in here. Friend here in town told me about this site. And thought I'd jump in and see who's out there. (moved here from illinois just under 2 years ago)

Into old school chops and bobbers and might dabble with some cafes...

A couple of friends and I build custom cb750's and xs650 in everette and always looking for new people to grab a beer and learn cool places to ride from... Names Mike by the way..

I suppose I should introduce myself even tho I recognize half the names from the .ws site LOL.

Names Armand, been riding since 01 and started on an sv650s, crashed that in 03 on hwy 53 and took a short break from riding partly due to my confidence being shot. early last year I said f the world and bought an R1, full leathers, and all the things I'd ever want for if something goes wrong again. Been working on building my confidence back up and learning the differences on handling between the sv and the r1. huge difference but I dont regret the r1 at all. alot more fun on the twisties than the sv

starting to look for group rides so I'll probably join some this summer. I'll be the one that will be riding slower than everyone else LOL. If all goes well I'll also be hitting the track this year to improve my riding skills. well.. that is ofcourse if I can find the time between work and school :(

I didnt make it on that ride. woke up way too late lol. I think the last group ride I did was back in late '04 on a rather fun (yet painful) ride to a party on hwy 53 lol. You may have seen me at some of the gatherings or even at PIR. I've gone there a few times to harrass people. I'm probably going to go on the east side ride tomorrow tho.

Hey this looks like a great forum, and since most of my buddies got old, married, or just wimped out and don't ride anymore I need to find some new riding friends. I think I found the spot to make that happen.

I am out on the west side so I am definetly going to try and make it to the strip club for bike night next week. And I am looking forward to hooking up and doing some group rides.
