What to do in the Rain??
Just curious what everyone does when the weather turns to...well...back to Oregon weather like today and the next few days? Still ride? Recoup from all the riding? Anyone go on drives? I know there has been a few semi organized drives with PNW'rs who are also into cages. Any interest in it?

I look on craigslist for a good deals on dual sports... so someday I can ride in the rain and have fun while doing it. And video games.

I put my rain gear on and ride to work and back home like every other day. I do not do any extra riding for pleasure in the rain but still ride Mon-Fri. I get housework done on the rainy weekends.

Go to the gym... great for movies and naps... web shopping/surfing... tinkering with the bike.

Rock'n the quattro so the cage thing could be fun, I'd just prefer to run sweep.

I think i handle all those things anyway regardless of rain, Grant....well maybe not enough naps. But yeah id love to put together some kind of cruise for all us cagers as well....the quattro would be fun in the rain

Man, I love running, rain or shine. Can't let a little storm keep me from those endorphins! I've lived in OR all my life, so you learn to roll with the punches. Bowling, shooting pool-those will work, too.

Thanks Shrek !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's true... I hear He's especialy fond of weddings...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go out and RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The streets are cleaner, once the oil is off. The colors are brigher, the cloud scape- fascenating, the trees, leaves, plants... all clean and beautifull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our modern tires are REALLY pretty good in the rain... just be SMOOTH, RELAX and adjust your following distance, roll on, braking.
It's just GREAT FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You'll need some practice before fall !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

Well, his first miracle was turning water into wine.... In those times, that = KEGGER!

but yea, riding in the rain isnt bad at all, dress right and have the right machine... (anyone know of a sweet / cheap DS for sale?)....

I like riding dirt in the rain or wet, the mud tossin all over and stuff... you getting off the ride and cant be recognized through the layers of muck...

I ride year round. But, I'm less enthusiastic at this time of year to ride in the rain. I get spoiled by the excellent conditions. But, when it turns nasty for good, I just buck up and ride anyway. Commute daily. Takes weekend rides when it's not pouring or snowing.

A guy I work with has a Ural with studded snow tires and a drivetrain to the sidecar, and takes it up Snoqualmie in the winter to go skiing,

He;s a quiet dude, but man that is balls there.

I ride year round, but winter time is usually when I like to get a girlfriend to preoccupy my time. I always like to ride something.

You should use the rain to wash out the sand...and go ride afterwards...

to everything Ripp'n said...what I understood at least...
