I Ride: Yamaha V Star Silverado
Brand New Rider, with some questions
Hey everyone, I was told that PNWR is a great group of riders that I can learn a lot from. I hear that most of you ride sport/street bikes, while I on the other hand just bought a Yamaha V Star as my first bike (still in the process of shipping it, i can't wait!).

I live in Pullman, and I would like to get help on where to buy riding gear. I'm not stupid I won't ride without the right stuff on. But I'm having a hard time finding good shops that have a good selection of helmets, jackets, gloves, etc. So if you can help me out that would be great, btw I can commute via my 'commuter pod' any distance. so if the best selection of stuff is in spokane I wanna know where!

One more thing, I haven't taken my MSF course yet, and where is the best/nearest place to Pullman that will also get my WA endorsement?

Thanks so much, and look forward to seeing ya'll out on the streets.

Oh and Go Cougs!

go down to Mac's Cycle in Clarkston, ask for Jim Volbrect (spelling?) and tell him you are a pnw riders member.

mac'c cycle is a forum sponsor, Jim is a great guy and will steer you in the right direction

or, palouse country sports (it you bought that star from them) is full of good guys
