Yeah, he was hungry today. Stoner though, from about halfway through lap 1 I was having flashbacks from last week. Although I never want to see anyone crash, Rossi not getting on the podium, hell even the top 5 was a huge help to the GP points for Stoner and the Ducati Marlboro Team.

Since Ducati reworked that motor, Stoner has been unstoppable. Posting practice/qualifying/race laps that are nearly a second faster than anyone else.

Hopefully this doesn't turn into a repeat of last year...

Did I hear the commentators correctly when they said Hayden may have signed with Ducati? Why would they take one of the most inconsistant riders in the class? They already have some slow people riding for them.

Looked good today, but it was one of his better tracks. And yeah I heard it to.

If he can ever regain any conficence, perhaps the Duc will work for him???

Melandri's fast, and you know it. Just goes to show how special Stoner and that bike are together.

It's all about confidence. Hayden is usually hit and miss, Stoner is waaaay more hit than miss. Melandri is totally one of my fav's, just wasn't on fire at this one.

I like to act like my sour puss attitude will light a fire under Hayden, but I really don't think he cares about what I may have to say. I'd really like to see the Americans rule the roost, like we used to. When I say Americans, I wish that wingnut Hopkins would swear allegience to Canada or some other pussified country.

Melandri hasn't been on fire this year. He can't come to grips with the Duc at all. Hayden can bring at least mid-pack placings to to the Ducati team. On top of this, the seat that Stoner has was initially turned down by Hayden as he had loyalty to Honda, the company that put all their eggs into the Pedrosa basket...and of course Honda will win the championship as a result.

Hayden and Melandri have both been very consistent this year, Hayden 4th-5th, Melandri dead last. I think Nicky could be very strong with the Duc HP!? I seriously doubt if Dani can hang on for the championship, he is really inconsistent, crashes a lot and makes dumb mistakes.

I really don't see Pedrosa any higher than third 9 races from now. Either Rossi or Stoner, I'm hoping for the latter. As for Hayden on the Ducati, I do believe with both him and Stoner on the GP9, it would be a great racing season because it would add another rider to be very competitative in the standings. With Stoner, Rossi, Hayden, Pedrosa, Lorenzo, and Edwards all getting on the podium regularly next year, the championship would very close and interesting.

Just my .02.

I heard that too by one of the commentators, but have read nothing official yet. ...hoping that the Duc proves to manage fuel better for Hayden than the pneumatic Honda.
