just got back from spokane.. gonna be working in brooks for the next week .. then im flying to Arizona for a month or so .. i miss riding with you guys.. my winters are way booked and i am busy all over the country .. i should be home about 7:30 this wednesday .. maybe i can meet up with the pack this week..

In the meantime, you don't need a license to ride one of these but I'm not sure they are street legal.

Not much to tell . . . the night Julia hit a deer in Hells Canyon while riding her bike I was out cruising on my VFR on this side of the Sate. I pulled up in front of McMenanin’s in McMinnville (there was about 20 sport bikes parked out front) and when I got off the bike I found a garbled voicemail from an unknown woman on my cell, it went something like this, “ –static-. . . I rode back into Salem and jumped in our Porsche and tore off to cross the Sate as fast as possible. I got pulled over a few times but was let go twice after the officers confirmed that Julia was being taken to the Baker City Hospital by ambulance. Just after midnight a Deschutes County sheriff’s deputy wasn’t as understanding and gave me a ticket for VBR (Violation of Basic Rule) for 58mph over the speed limit. Luckily I had just slowed down.

I knew he had me as soon as I saw him hiding off the road behind some trees so I lit up the brakes and pulled right off the highway before the deputy could even pull out onto the road. He thanked me for not making him chase me down and said as a result he wouldn’t arrest me, give me a ticket for reckless driving and impound my car – which I appreciated. (Jail is always smelly, uncomfortable and boring and the company is usually rather monotonous.)

So I won’t be riding for a month. Judge gave me the minimum 30 day suspension as is now mandatory by law.

Is this ride dead?

I'd like to see some interest but rain riding at night isn't my idea of fun.

If it's halfway decent I'd like to go to Corvallis - at least they have good pizza there.........and it's a halfway fun ride.

You can as far as I am concerned, but it would just be another bike sitting in yer garage while we are out riding Wed night. lol
