Bible Creek ride 8/10....
Yup, if you'd like to ride with us, meet up at Starbucks (the north one) on Liberty at 10 am. This is an awesome road! It will be a guaruntee'd fun ride

The other option is Hebo higway into Pac. City. Which road would you guys rather take?

Very interested! Gonna load up on the brownie points and see if I can get away. It is a great road...Any idea how harsh the winter was on it?

It's no worse than usual this year. However, they were doing some construction and digging ditches across the road for a few miles once you get towards Beaver...take it slow once you hit it, the ditches/gravel moats are mid corner in some spots and I'm not sure if they have finished with the paving.

I'm sure the road is fine. We'll go into Tillamook for lunch.

I prefer Sunday but can do either.
I usually do weekly farm chores on Saturday.
Maybe I will join Copper on Sunday if it is changed to Saturday.

Definitely in for Sunday. Also called another buddy that is interested and he might bring one more.

What time?

9:30ish?
Maybe meet at Safeway in West Salem or near Wallery's?

9:30 Sunday sounds good to me.
Don't know West Salem too well, I think I know where Safeway is. Near the bridge right?

Chuck,

How does doing the HEBO route to the Coast and maybe coming back on Bible Creek, depending on the road report from Saturday. Spoke to a kid on a GSXR 600 today (Told him about the site) and he said it was pretty rough.

Thoughts?

I'm in at least to the coast and back as long as the weather holds. Bible Creek on the way out gets my vote.

Sounds good to me.
Another option is to ride down the coast a little bit and take the Siletz Hwy and there are a couple of options from there.

Weather.com showed it as 67 and partly cloudy in Pacific City, Supposed to sprinkle today on the coast but dry up again tomorrow.

Any route works, there will be a couple of guys waiting for us at Grande Ronde. Buddy of mine that lives out that way and he may have a friend or two.

Good ride today guys! Sorry we missed you Jon. Waited for about 10-15 min. HAd to catch up to a couple at Grande Ronde.

Thanks for posting the idea Dozer. We did Hebo to Pac City, did the long way to Tillamook, had Lunch at Rodeo Burger. I think that was what it was called. Then we backtracked to Beaver and rode Bible Creek.

Road to Hebo was great, just a couple too many Motor Homes. Road from Beaver to Bible Creek had about 4 or so miles of patchy gravel. Once you got to the rest area/turn to Bible Creek, the road was it's normal choppy self. It felt better than when I rode it last year however still was paved bit rough in a few spots. Forgot how tight some of the curves were. Had a few minutes delays at the turn due to some road racing. By the looks of the cars, would've been fun to watch, or even race!

Anyway, Thanks again Chuck and Tom. My buddy, Rene (rides an 05 R1) also made the trip. Told him about the site too. He had a cruiser friend but the guy turned off after we hit 101 near Pacific City. Guess we were too slow for him! LOL

I like the Suzuki!!!

Had a good time Sunday.

I was feeling a little punk, it was good to get some fresh air and give the "Priller" a little work out, been awhile. Pace was good. Gonna check that tail light, thanks for telling me about it.

Never been on Bible Creek road B4. It was a fun road except the s l o w SUV & Pickup.

The gravel didn't bother me, small price to pay, the rest of the road was good.

Gotta do it again soon.

Thanks Copper for taking the lead on this one!
