| WMRRA Qualifier Joined: May 2007 From: Tacoma I Ride: 2006 Suzuki gsxr1000 | Cedarwood Regulars HELP!!!!! Cedarwood regulars (and anyone else who wants to come) I NEED YOUR HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On September 20th (not sure of time yet Ill update) a Saturday...The Cedarwood is having a HUGE Karaoke contest that I already qualified for.. Huh?? Already qualified?? For the next 3 weeks (there has been 2 already) the Cedarwood is having peliminary rounds for this contest..Some of you already know that I took 2nd place last week to earn me a shot in the finals.. Winner gets 500 bucks and a trip for 2 to Vegas.. I need a big crowd supporting me because I am going against some really good singers..and crowd response is the biggest thing they judge on..So if I get mass people cheering me on I might have a shot.. I am going to sing my ass off for you guys!!!!! anyone else that wants to try out go to the Cedarwood on Thursday's at 9pm to enter a peliminary round and try to qualify for the big show on the 20th... SHOW ME SOME LOVE REGULARS!!!!! (and non regulars  ))Icon |

I asked last Tuesday night and they werent sure..They were thinking 9 pm but I thought that was a kinda late start considering there are going to be at least 12 contestants...So I suggested 8pm...I will keep everyone posted. Not sure yet..all I know is its on Saturday the 20th..and its going to be held on the big stage upstairs. I am also thinking of doing an afternoon ride before the contest..but I need to figure out whats all on my plate before I commit to organising a ride.. Werd Icon |

I would do some Slipknot if they had more than 1 song.... "Wait and Bleed" is the only Slipknot they have....How W E A K is that ??? Id love to sing "Before I forget" or "Duality"..... I told the Karaoke dude that he needs more Slipknot...He tells me I can go to the Karaoke store.... more weakness.. Disclaimer: Some of my musical tastes are a bit off the beaten path, and I don't know if it'd be worth it for karaoke hosts to stock most of the stuff I'd actually get up and sing. Even if they did, I don't know if the audience would know the songs when someone sang them. |
