ECLIPSE CAMPING! Is anybody interested in seeing the total solar eclipse? The path of totality will be through central Oregon on the morning of August 21st. It will start on the Oregon coast a little after 9am. AS you can figure there is not 1 single hotel room available in almost all of Oregon. The national news has also said that ALL of the state camp grounds are full. Some of the local people are offering camping on private land but are charging as much as $1,200.00 for 3 nights. I have a friend that lives right next door to the Madras airport in Madras Oregon. 38 acres of hay field camping. It is as flat as your table. As part of our Festival of Wheels that weekend there will be $10 camping at the city park and baseball field. Band Saturday night.
