  1. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg This has been the best bike I have ever owned. Way more character than any other bike I have ridden. It wheelies everywhere (assuming you want to), but is also super comfortable. Wonderful to look at, I often find myself staring at it in the garage…

I got this bike from my father. He was 59 when I got it from him, and still riding it! Since I have owned it I have had nearly everything powdercoated black, and done ALL the reliability updates (installed manual cam chain tensioners, a MOSFET regulator/rectifier, and more).

Valve clearances were just checked a couple thousand miles ago, and set to stock spec with new shims (I did the work). New tires and battery just installed. Forks just rebuilt with heavier springs and in my opinion the best oil. Front end dampening now matches the rear, very balanced bike, setup for about a 160lb rider.

It's a bit cold blooded (48mm carbs, biggest carbs Honda ever put on a motorcycle), but once the coolant temperature reaches about 125 on the digital readout it is ready to go with no more choke.

Short gearing means lots of fun from stoplight to stoplight, and no vibrations in top gear on the freeway, just a nice riding bike. Super quick bike, I have no doubt it would post mid to high 10s in the quarter mile.

No test rides… If you are looking at this bike you know what it is, and by looking at the list of things I have done can probably tell how amazing the bike is… Whatever you are imagining is true, it is a fantastic bike.

This bike just won VTR of the Month on the Superhawk Forum (March 2016)
