  1. So, I was wondering if the fuel pump was supposed to pulse while cranking the starter or come on and stay on. Is there a timer? New fuel pump, has spark, coils tested good, won't fire up. It doesn't pump fuel but, the pump comes on when I apply direct power. I have fuel flow from the petcock but, none out of the pump. Same as with the old pump. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks for looking.

  2. It's possible that the fuel pump portion of the ignitor is bad because the relay is wired through the ignitor unit. There was a fire at one point and the negative lead from the fuel pump was cooked. That wire was replaced along with the connector to the pump.

  3. Apparently no one reads anything here so, I guess I'll find another pace to ask and answer questions.
