Assistance w/ changing brake pads

Discussion in 'Tacoma-Puyallup' started by Swissa, Aug 22, 2013.

  1. Looking for a good mechanic who is willing to take the time out of his/her busy day to assist me in how to order and change brake pads on my 2009 CBR 600RR

I'm willing to sweeten the deal with a 6 pack of beer.

I live in the Tacoma/UP area willing to travel as far north as SEA and as far south as OLY.

What is the website that has good Customer service and descent prices for motorcycle parts?

    Thanks again,
    Swissa

  7. it's pretty simple, I just did it, I'd offer some assistance but I'm a little far north and I'm certain you'll find someone to take a couple minutes.

I went through www.motorcycle-superstore.com and purchased

    Bel-Ray Dot 4 Brake Fluid (12 ounce)for $8

EBC Double-H Sintered Brake pads $36.00

not saying go out and buy this, just giving advise on what I bought and prefer.

as Dan said, good time to change your fluid also.
