Best sport-touring tires for trip to Seca?

    Well, my D208s are toast and I need new tires, but I'm planning on riding down to Seca for the MotoGP race in July, so I'm thinking it'd be a good idea to go with a little more touring-oriented tire. Anybody got any experience/recommendations? Since I've always had D207s/208s on my bike, I'm leaning towards D220s, but I'd really to hear your opinions.

    I had D220's on my bike last year, good tires no problems with grip, lasted about 6500 miles. I just put on a set of Metzeler z6, the have more grip, about the same in the rain and time will tell on life span.
     

  3. I can personally guarantee from my last road trip that a set of BT014's will suffice more than fine!!
