"But I do enjoy corners". LOL, love it. I am gonna try for this one. Been too damn long Jeff! Posted via PNW Riders Mobile
Next time for sure. Yeah it has. Hope you can make it. Galen too, when I left VBN Devon was working on him, wearing him down crackup:
suited up and ready to go. bike needed a little better "charge" so taking a couple minutes to top off the battery. :angry7: I think I'll still be there by KSU, but if not, I know the route (assuming you're going CCW and doing canyon road) and I'll see what I can do to find you on SR14.
THanks for a great ride. Jeff, I enjoyed the route bypassing most of SR-14 on the way in. Oh, and the cop that pulled me over as SR-14 was merging into I-205 wanted to tell me that I cut across the "gore point", the section in between the white lines of the lane that I was in and the lane that my lane was about to merge with. I guess it's a no man's land marked with white chevrons. :scratchea Anyway, checked my license, had me take off my helmet and sunglasses to see my pretty face. :ninja: Then gave me a warning about this whole Gore Point thing and sent me on my way. :nana
Thanks for coming everyone. Great day. Trayson, yeah I figured that's what it was. I didn't even see him until he came even with me. After that lunch conversation I was thinking "damn, 240 mile day, less than 5 miles from home. Shit!" and I was lmao!
Good ride guys. :mfclap::mfclap::mfclap: Great meeting some new faces and finally riding with a few I have seen at bike nights. We wanted to do some more riding so we peeled off and did some sight seeing along the old scenic hwy. :wav:
That wasn't the same cop that had the RV pulled over was it? I thought i saw someone get lit up behind me lol :mfclap:
R1 Jackal and I were out and about in the area today as well... didn't quite cross paths with you guys though...bummer! Such a nice day out here today, much welcome weather!! Glad you guys had a great time :mfclap:
I'll have to attend the next one. I left the 'couv for Cougar at about 10am and was just going to stop for a danish and a coffee, then decided, screw it, I'm going over the top! Rode the rest of the loop back over to Carson and back in. Had a great ride. Met a couple bikers from Vancouver BC while I was at the McClellan Viewpoint. They were spending all this week just exploring the great roads around the mountains and the gorge.
It was the one that was right there as we were exiting SR14 and merging onto 205, He was right over at the offramp to Mill Plain. Silly me for getting over quicker to get out of his way so it wouldn't have been even more of a cluster there... Whatever. I add another traffic stop to my endless list. :thefinge:
Glad we jumped across at the Bridge of The Gods to stay off 14. Check out Devin tearing up the BigFoot Samwitch!!!!!!!!!!!
I have some Vids from the ride. got a lot of them uploaded. I was too lazy to edit, so you get raw video. If you were on the ride, and you want links to the video, PM me. After our little "chat" with the Klickitat Sheriff, I'll skip the whole posting the video on this forum. I don't need any MORE police misinterpreting our lazy, cautious, sunday drive, leisurly pace for hooliganism! :ninja:
