So i went low-side awhile back and now just starting too look into it.

No need for briefing as the pictures tell it all.
Thins i am wondering is if you believe this can be fixable by weld.
I have a friend that is a welder and he would most likely come over too look at it but i just want your guy's opinion. Has anybody ever done this or has had damage like this.

IMO that's too much to weld, and even if you want to you have to tear it all down pretty much to do it, so at that point there's R6's out the yin yang in this world, probably not too bad to find a new case

When you weld that the distortion caused by the localised heating will render the cases un usable.
Bummer
Also, when a crank takes a shot to the end like that one did, it usually kills them.
2nd Bummer

Hahaha thanks for laugh

But yea, I decided last night...or more like this morning 3 am too invest
In a new motor. So I went and bought one on eBay haha, it's on it's way.
With a bonus of already having woodcraft stator and clutch covers.

Sorry Mate. She'll be my track bike build.

There's a couple good Track bikes on Craigslist from 2-4k in good condition. Canada has some nice ones as well, and its a track bike so you don't have too register.

RedKat600: That's the plan

Nice! Probably not a terrible idea, really. With the stress cracks, you could get everything put back together only to have the engine warm up and expose another problem.
