When you say jumped the motor.... You mean what exactly?

The start circuit is pretty simple once you identify all the parts. I'd start by checking power from the ignition to the start switch. Especially as this part is new.

This is what I thought. So....the first part of the circuit is made up of the ignition, inter-locks (side stand switch, kill switch, etc), start switch and start relay (small black box). The second part of the circuit is the battery, start relay, start solenoid and start motor.

You just have to chase the power. I go to a suspect areas first then check places you can get to easily.

Oh and don't forget to check the fuse! I think there is two in the start circuit

Edit- I can't find the tip over info right now but if you don't have "chec" on the gauges, I doubt it's that. See above

These extracts are from a K4 750 manual but should be the same.

*edit step 3 included (I just took that page originally for the diagram but point taken). And pages in correct order. The missing pages are all about starter so I didn't bother. Hope this helps.

.....oh......and you're welcome.

(.....geez I hope it doesn't ask for a refund too)

call me stupid but what does that stand for? haha
It means it would be really advantageous to find a copy of the owners manual. There are plenty of places to find electronic copies of service manuals too. some free some inexpensive.
