    Picked it up today.
    03 Yamaha R6 (Raven)

Bit of a fixer-upper, but I'll have fun with it! I know it's not a Honda, and I've always been partial, but either way, should be a fun project!

    Your gonna have FUN!

  4. I had an 03 R6. great bike. I think 2003 is regarded as having the best fuel injection mapping. smooth and torquey for a 6 hunny. Good chassis. fairly comfy. I loved that bike. never shoulda sold it.

This was really cheap for the condition it's in.
Plus could turn out to be a good track bike. It will be 'streeted' first, until I eventually get an RC51.

Well, I say that before digging into it. Plus I got ahold of my parts guy down in Miami and he said he would ship, SCORE!!!

The price list I came up with was about $2300 for a bunch of goodies.
    Steering stabilizer, tires, rearsets, etc.
Granted that was going high on everything including $650 for plastics.

    I was on a buddy's 08 CBR 600RR.

Brad, Buz, you guys made me cry today. Thank you for getting up there today. A lot of us couldn't / wouldn't do that.

  9. Good deal Adam, no RC but still will be a hoot I'm sure. See you out there!

  10. Glad you were able to ride with us on the 12th.

And thanks Adam, I felt like I just had to say something for Mike.

Also, how's the your project bike coming?

Good. I have it cleaned up pretty good, but still need parts.
Found an oil pump cover on craigslist, brand new in the package with gasket, so that will save me about $100 if I get it.

Still need to get the ignition mounted too, and get new tires.

By the way, talked to my point of contact from Florida, he will ship tires!!!
