The gas station in Maupin still has non-ethanol gas but temporarily it's in a red tank behind the corner, not at the pump. The owner told me he had to start carrying diesel because some other station shut down so since he has a permit for non-ethanol but no pump now, he is temporarily providing it out of a tank, specifically for us and others who seek that type of gas as to not lose our business. Eventually he plans on selling it again from a regular pump. There is no sign or anything, so make sure you look or ask before you pump.
good suggestion to ask for it. If customers don't ask, he'll end up dropping it! Our local stations dropped it.
Yeah I would love to support the Washougal Mercantile but they never have the damn stuff in stock past 5.00 worth. Oh goody. 1.12 gal of gas. I can make it back to town to buy the rest of the tank!!!
