Traction Control

Discussion in 'Mechanical & Technical' started by beansbaxter, Apr 27, 2005.

  1. Wow, this is some good information. As for it's application to racing, it should be an added benefit for "ALL" racers. I really don't see why they shouldn't unless it's really expensive and lesser paid riders can't afford it.

    but that's my .02

  2. If he has it everybody has it.

if he has it, i'm sure not everyone has it. who knows... Matt doesn't slide around the corners much, but a lot of the guys do, especially when conditions are extreme.

i don't know much about the mechanics or reality of traction control when riding, but it seems to me that in a sport that prides itself in being more about the rider than the machine, i think that something like traction control may be taking the sport out of the hands of the skilled rider and giving it to the machine.
