  1. If you are, I think it might be better than infamous Spiral Highway, except it's in California...but I think I will have to do it this summer on one of my road trips there...check it out:

yeah, they're busting down on it - due to all the crapheads treating it like a track. ever seen any video from there? there's nothing BUT bikes up there. and people get stupid ideas like throwing water balloons at riders from higher up the road...

  5. The problem with this road and one of my favorites just north of Ojai (O-hi)
California where i lived for 5 years is all the rain in the last month.
Lots of mountain roads have wash outs and land slides.
Its going to take a wile to get them back in shape.

I will be taking a trip down early summer to spend about 3 days there and have some fun.

Mid week is the way to go to avoid the police as the weekends tend to attract a lot of riders.

Both Ventura and Santa Barbara are only a half hour away.

I'll post dates as soon as i know my sailing/work schedule for the summer.

    so how was the ride?

  12. No Beans YOU should never spend any time in central cail. After many years at calpoly there are more roads than you can imagine. Hell in 1984 my gas bill was 300 a month.

  13. I've always wanted to do this road!

  14. You went to poly? I graduated from there in 2005. We rode nearly every weekend all year long. Lots of good roads nearby.

  15. What the hell? Is it dig up 2 year old threads week or what?

Been there, done it once back in 84. Not sure now how it is now, as I'm pretty sure it's over the top popular in more ways than one. Even the Magazines did photo shoots there in the early 80s, been over it via Helicopter more times, pretty nutz, best have your A game in check, plus wouldn't hurt to have an angel or two, one for the law the other for back-up.

  17. Anyone ridden this recently?

    Grantizzle likes this.
