Yeah, right after spinning up to speed after fueling. A small flock from the left flew across the front of the bike and the 'high' one caught me right in the side of the visor ratchet/clip then the visor went flapping in the breeze, . . . so I stopped. Note to self: ADD duct tape to tool kit !!! :angry7: Ratchet and side pod are on order. Glad this was the only issue during the ride. When did you notice that I wasn't behind you ?!? Who ?!? Ha, ha !!!
I've had my ratchet thingy break while out on a ride too. Except mine was my fault, my helmet fell off my bike... :angry7: Glad you're alright, after an incident like that I'd be checking my pants.
Glad you're alright. I've hit a bird with my helmet, but it was already smacked by the car in front of me and we were only goin 35. Didn't even see the darn thing until it hit me right in the visor. Helmets are a good thing. I can't think of how people don't wear helmets at all. Just crazy...
Yup, or open face helmets. Yeah, I know it's hot, etc, but you take a bug, rock or bird in the face at speed, well... :tard:
