I'm having a hell of a time bleeding my front brakes. Bike is a 2006 CBR600RR. It doesn't have a master cylinder bleeder, just the bleeders on the calipers.
I'm following the steps:
pump
crack open bleeder with vacuum attached
pump and hold lever
close bleeder
repeat
... and getting nowhere. The lever is still really squishy and doesn't feel like it engages until halfway through the pull. What am I doing wrong?

have you tried the old method
crack open bleeder
squeeze lever , and hold it
close bleeder
Don't you mean;

Pump lever,
Keep squeezing lever,
Open bleeder,
Close bleeder,
Rinse and repeat?

If you are having real problems remove the whole system, without breaking into it, and hang it over night. Callipers up. Air goes up. Bleed in the morning.

I've never heard of either of these methods. :scratchea

But I have had great success doing this way.

Also, never let the reservoir get too low, or run out of fluid.

You can bleed the MC by just barely cracking the banjo bolt loose and then re-tightening as though it were a bleeder valve. This will sometimes get that little bit of air at the MC.
